I grew up in Temecula, CA, and my parents took me off-roading in Ocotillo Wells and Glamis. Those trips sparked a passion that drove my career, and I later passed on to my kids. While I was in college, a friend and I were building a Baja bug that needed seats. With no money, we made our own, and in May 1997, PRP Seats began. I have been involved in PRP Seats in one capacity or another ever since.
As we built PRP, my wife and I raised our two daughters, and much of our family life revolved around the off-road community. We spent most weekends together either at an off-road event promoting PRP or out riding and exploring. Off-roading became more than a hobby; it became a way of life and something our entire family could enjoy together.
I passed my passion for off-road to my oldest daughter, Maddie. From 2014 through 2021, Maddie wanted to go racing, and together we put a UTV race team together. I had the opportunity to sit as a passenger in a race car and watch my kid love this sport just as much as I do.
Over the past year, I have also been working with Warfighter Made to help introduce veterans and their families to the off-road lifestyle. Sharing something I love with people who have given so much to our country has been incredibly rewarding.
In June of 2026, we took our family’s love of off-roading to another level when we hosted an off-road wedding for Maddie and her husband, Matt. Family and friends came together for five days of camping, riding, exploring, and celebrating, ending the week with a beautiful wedding in Southern Utah. It was the perfect combination of family, adventure, and the off-road lifestyle that has been such a big part of our lives.
I have continued to pursue my own passion for exploration, spending much of my free time riding my UTV or Bronco. This year alone, I have logged roughly 5,000 miles exploring trails throughout California, Arizona, and Utah.
Looking ahead, I plan to continue exploring the Western United States from behind the wheel of an off-road vehicle. There is no better way to experience our country than on a dirt road with good people!
