Currently 48 years old, Beau Judge started racing Motocross at age 7; turning pro at 24 with a number of amateur championships already accumulated. Outdoor AMA titles and AMA Arena Cross Championships included. In 2001, he raced his first outdoor AMA Motocross at Hangtown and continued to race all the Western AMA Motocross Nationals: Hangtown, Glen Helen, Thunder Valley, and Washougal.
As a new dad in 2011, Beau decided it was time for a cage. He had grown up in a family of drag racers, so he decided to try that first. He started racing the BRS drag racing series in Super Comp and won the championship and Rookie of the Year. That pattern repeated in 2012 when he moved to Pro Turbo and in 2013 when he moved to Pro Mod – another championship, another Rookie of the Year.
2014 was spent searching for new challenges. That’s when he found UTV Short-Course racing. There were some challenges along the way. Starting in a Polaris racing local series he won championships with NorCal, SXS, and VORRA. In 2017, he teamed with Phil Blurton and Can-Am to race Best in the Desert and won three championships and four Vegas-to-Reno in a row. Capping that with a win at the 2021 Baja 1000 in forced-induction and overall.
Beau had raced some short-course rounds along the way with WORCS and Lucas Oil, but never a full series. In 2020, he signed with Can-Am to race full-time short-course with the WORCS series. Since then, he won the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and currently has the 2025 points lead; going for his 5th championship in a row.
From Beau: Highlights of the past 12 months I would be racing competitively against my son. At the time of this writing, I currently have an 18 point lead over my son Braden Judge and he has a 22 point lead over 3rd. Mentoring him since he started racing at the age of 4 now 17 has been one of my biggest personal accomplishments. There is no other feeling as a dad to have your son as your biggest competitor. To finish the championship 1 and 2 for the year would mean the world to me.
“Off road racing is like my second family. I have met some of my life long best friends there and couldn’t see a life without it. I will race as long as my health allows me to.” – Beau Judge
