Christopher Polvoorde

2023, 2019, Desert Racing, Short Course

Christopher Polvoorde has previously been honored with an Impact Award for Short Course.  He's moved to Desert in a big way, with a win at the 2022 SCORE Baja 400 in the Trophy Truck Spec class, and even bigger plans for 2024:

My name is Christopher Polvoorde, I am 23 years old from Hemet, CA. I am a first-generation off-road racer. I started racing Short Course when I was 10 years old. Winning multiple championships in short course throughout the years and even going undefeated in 2019.

Recently jumping into desert racing with a Trophy Truck Spec. I have been fortunate enough to have some success and win some races. I am now making the jump to Trophy Truck for the rest of 2023 and 2024.

I love anything that involves adventure and I am always trying to push the limits. I am always on the go but love every part of it and even spend about 3 months a year down in Baja. I have been very fortunate to be surrounded by many amazing and smart people that have allowed me to reach my dreams and chase the next ones. -- Christopher Polvoorde

Off-road has become my way of life, it is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Being a first-generation offroad racer has been full of challenges but I have been enjoying every part of it. Off-road has brought my family together in ways that I didn't think were possible. I will continue to push to put the Polvoorde name in the history books. I also couldn't be more excited to be jumping into a Trophy Truck in 2024.

2019 Archives: Christopher is a first-generation racer that began racing at the age of 10 in Trophy Karts. Now 19, Christopher has 5 championship titles to his name. This past 2019 season he went to win 7 of the 7 races in the Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League in the stacked Prolite field. To then top off the streak he made it 8 for 8 winning the Crandon Pro Lite World Championship and having a perfect season in the Midwest. This was also a 8 win streak at Crandon being that he has swept the previous 3 times he had raced there. He also competes in the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series where he is a top contender. When he is not at the race track he is a full-time student at the University of San Diego where he is studying Real Estate and Finance.
