Darren Hardesty Jr is a third-generation racer and the two-time defending champion and current points leader in the LOORRS Pro Buggy class. He was the Junior 1 Kart Rookie of the Year in 2011 before moving up to the fastest Kart class. In 2015, his first year in a Pro Buggy, Darren earned Rookie of the Year honors and the regional points championship. Darren continued his winning ways in 2016 and 2017 with back-to-back Pro Buggy championships. He has his sights set on a third championship, and currently sits on top of the point standings. When asked about his goals for 2018, Darren said, “I want to improve my driving in any way I can…I watch videos of my races and do everything I can to improve myself.”
