Greg Adler was born and raised in the Off-road industry. His Grandfather started 4Wheel Parts, and his Dad was the first full-time employee and built the business over 40 years. Greg worked the retail counter as a teenager before going to Arizona State to get a degree in Accounting (boring)! After becoming a CPA, he joined 4Wheel Parts full-time as a Store Operations Manager in 1992. The Store count grew from 15 to 50, and then he moved on to the President role in 2000. Greg's Dad sold the business and retired in 2005, which is when he took over as CEO. The company grew to over 100 stores, a large e-commerce site, wholesale distribution, and successful brands like Pro-Comp, Smittybilt, Rubicon, and Poison Spyder. In 2018, after the business was sold again, Greg left.
After a short retirement to get his pilot's license, Greg purchased Off Road Warehouse (ORW) in 2020. ORW grew from 4 to 11 stores when the opportunity to acquire 4Wheel Parts (4WP) presented itself. Greg purchased back the family business, 4WP, in October 2024. There are now 50 stores (40 as 4WP and 10 as ORW).
"I love the industry and couldn't have gotten here without the mentorship of my Dad, George Adler. I also compete in off-road racing at various levels throughout my career. I served on the SEMA Board of Directors for three terms (9 years) and continue to serve as the Chairman of the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), which fights to keep land open for motorized use. However, my greatest accomplishment is my family (Wife, Stacy, and kids Lake, Brooke, and Olivia)!" – Greg Adler
