My Name is Jimmy Henderson. I am Husband to Brett Henderson, Dad to Lorelei Henderson, Boss to about 150 individuals, but on the weekends, I am the pilot of the #44 Pro4. Primarily, I own a Fabrication company and a separate Steel erection company. We mainly focus on manufacturing, data centers, and warehousing. This part of my life gives me real insight into what partners/sponsors are looking for and how to tie my passion to theirs.
I spent the earlier part of my racing career racing asphalt circle tracks. I would race anything I could get myself into, from Legends cars to NASCAR Nationwide cars. I never dreamed that a trip to Crandon, Wisconsin, would change our lives forever. Watching a Pro4 take Turn 1 for the first time was a thing of beauty. I had to find a way to experience it. Once I did, it was all history from there. Now I am in my sixth season, and I absolutely love off-road racing. This is where my wife and I want to finish out our racing days.
Over the last 12 months, we have had nine Pro4 wins, including the Crandon Red Bull World Cup. We're currently the Pro4 points leader and in October, we'll be heading to Glen Helen in pursuit of my first Red plate.
My sponsors include United Rentals, Maxxis Tires, Amsoil, WD40, King Shocks, Wilwood Brakes, K&N, and Beyond Redline Performance.
I have spent my life racing and searching. Off-Road Racing is home. It is a place I feel I can pour myself into. The people are genuine, the fans are like no other, rain or shine, and it is a place where you have to have absolute grit to be successful. Currently, I have no major plans that involve other series or types of racing. We just want to keep pushing the development of our Pro4 trucks and supporting Champ Off-Road series and tracks.
We do have some future youngsters coming up in our pits. Traden and Tatum Ronfeldt. Tatum is currently racing Kids Carts and Traden is too young but will be testing in his sister's cart this offseason.
