ORMHOF Class of 2022 Announcement Set for Mid-July

The Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2022 will be announced in mid-July.

A panel of twenty individuals from the off-road industry met to select the ORMHOF Class of 2022 from a field of 46 nominees.

To be considered for induction, a nominee must have received votes from two-thirds of the voting committee members.  Each committee member received one vote for every four nominees.  Prior to taking a blind vote, the committee members discussed each nominee during a vetting process in a day-long meeting.

Nominees receiving votes from two-thirds of the voting committee members were presented to the ORMHOF board of directors for ratification.  

In a Hall of Fame first, nine nominees received enough votes to be considered for induction.  The ORMHOF board of directors voted on a By-Law change allowing for all nominees who receive votes from two-thirds of the committee members to be considered for induction. The previous By-Laws allowed for between three and seven nominees to be inducted.  

Off-Road's Biggest Night of the Year, the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame 2022 Induction & Awards Gala presented by 4 Wheel Parts will be held on Sunday, October 30, at the South Point in Las Vegas.
