ORMHOF Welcomes Fardad Niknam to Board of Directors

ORMHOF is pleased to announce Fardad Niknam as the newest member of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame board of directors. Fardad will serve a three-year term, 2023-2025.

Fardad is the senior director of product planning for Yokohama Tire Corporation. An avid motorsports enthusiast with over twenty years of involvement in the off-road community, Fardad is leading Yokohama's effort to effectively participate in all forms of off-road racing, events, and sponsorship.

Fardad holds a BS, MS, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. He uses his talents as an accomplished, ambitious, and results-driven business management executive to lead effective business strategy, operations performance, marketing, motorsports, and cross-functional team leadership in support of billion-dollar organizations.  He has published 18 technical papers in journals and conferences and holds multiple U.S. Patents.

ORMHOF inductee and board member Frank DeAngelo says, "I've known Fardad professionally for many years. He will be a great addition to our board of directors."

Mark McMillin, ORMHOF inductee and board chairman, echoed Frank's remarks saying, "Fardad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Hall of Fame, not to mention his unbridled enthusiasm for all things off-road."

Also serving on the current all-volunteer ORMHOF board of directors with Fardad, Frank, and Mark, are Frank 'Butch' Arciero Jr, Colin Butcher, Dave Cole, Bud Feldkamp, Jeff Furrier, Bob Ham, Josh Hall, Rafael Navarro III, Bonnie Vessels, and Rory Ward.
