Vic and co-driver Ted Mangels won the very first Mexican 1000 in 1967, driving a Meyers Manx. Their time of 27 hours, 38 minutes shattered all existing records and set a benchmark for the event's future.

Vic would go on to have a varied and successful career in motorsports, which he shares with 'Big Rich' Klein in this episode of the Conversations with Big Rich podcast.

Rich has recorded more than 150 episodes of his popular podcast series, which is available on major streaming services.  Rich is also the publisher of 4LOW Magazine and promoter of the W.E. Rock rock crawling series.  He was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.
