Record Crowd Welcomes Eleven New Inductees to the Hall of Fame

 
ORMHOF set the stage, and the off-road community made the magic as a record crowd of more than 650 guests enthusiastically welcomed the Class of 2020 and 2021 to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame at the 2021 Induction & Awards Gala presented by 4 Wheel Parts at the South Point Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
 
The evening began with the Walk of Fame Cocktail Reception presented by Fox, streamed live on the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Facebook page, hosted by Charlene Bower of Ladies Offroad Network. The replay is available on the 2021 Ceremony page at ormhof.org.
 
 
Throughout the evening bidders, both at the event and online, kept an eye on their favorite items in the ORMHOF Auction. Thank you to everyone who donated and bid on more than fifty amazing auction items to support ORMHOF's biggest fundraiser of the year, and to Dusty Times for sponsoring this year's auction.
 
 
As guests enjoyed dinner, the eleven incoming inductees were welcomed to the Hall of Fame by Master of Ceremony Jim Beaver. For the first time ever, the Gala was streamed live.  The replay is available on the 2021 Ceremony page at ormhof.org.
 
 
Alex Vanover, aka Captain Vanover, is a champion drone pilot who has brought his incredible skills to the sport of off-road racing. He was honored with a 2021 Impact Award in the Industry category. The FPV (First Person Viewer) perspective Alex and others in his field provide has revolutionized off-road racing coverage.
 
 
Master of Ceremony Jim Beaver, right, welcomed 4 Wheel Parts president and CEO Craig Scanlon to the stage to receive the Voters Choice award in the Industry Category for the 2021 Impact Awards.
 
During the evening, the Impact Award honorees were recognized and the Voters Choice Awards were announced.  The voting members of the Hall of Fame honored Ryan Arciero, Desert Racing; Ricky Brabec, MX|ATV; Loren Healy, Rock Sports; Kyle LeDuc, Short Course; Casey Currie, UTV; Craig Scanlon, Industry; and Kathyrn Lynch, Advocate as Voters Choice among the Impact Award honorees. The American Sand Association received the Hall of Fame 2021 Land Use Donation. On stage were ASA executive director Dave Kuskie, ORMHOF inductee and ASA board member Jim Bramham, ASA president Bryan Henry, and presenting the check, ORMHOF inductee and board member Bob Ham.
 
Bob Jensen was honored with the 2021 Volunteer presented by Ford Motor Company, Bob Ham received the Louis Unser Never Give Up Award presented by Yokohama Tire, and the American Sand Association was announced as the recipient of the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame 2021 Land Use Donation.  For more information please visit the News section at ormhof.org.
 
 
The ORMHOF 2021 commemorative shirt design unveiled at the Induction & Awards Gala honors Cameron and Tammy Thieriot's vehicle donations to the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame, the BFG Blazer and Scoop Vessels Class 8 truck.  The shirt features artwork by Bill Brindle of B3kreativ.
