As a journalist, I covered my first short course race at Saddleback Park in 1984 and went on to cover many MTEG events for Dusty Times. Recently, I wrote the history of short course racing and post current events on my website shortcourseracer.com. Years back I published a monthly in San Diego titled MotorsportsNews.

I freelanced and wrote installation manuals for RCD Suspension, Gear Vendors, and Gypsy Rack, as well as, two books for Haynes Publications. I worked for Perpetual Motion Films at CORR races. I have raced short course, off-road, and motocross. I was an announcer at Barona Oaks Raceway for several years and provided Cycle News coverage.

For many years I helped support Glenn Harris and Cameron Thieriot with their off-road racing programs. I organized chase drivers for the SCORE-DARPA Autonomous event and chase crews for the SCORE Baja Challenge.

Recently, I provided support at the Trail of Missions CAN AM event hosted by Cameron Steele as well as supported Phil Blurton during the Baja 400, 500, and 1000. I was an online Moderator for the Mint 400 and provided chase support for Logan Gastel 969 during his Legacy 300 win. I’m also helping Phil Blurton’s No Limit R&D team during their Baja campaigns.

Racing, and off-roading, have provided me with many years of entertainment!
