Who is eligible for the Hall of Fame?

Anyone who has been involved in the sport of off-road for at least 15 years and has made a significant impact on the sport or industry.

Can anyone submit a nomination?
Yes, but you must be an active member/supporter. Use the Join, Partner or Donate link at www.ormhof.org.
When are nominations accepted?

For 2024, March is nomination month. Nomination packets are available online at ormhof.org during the month of March and must be submitted by March 31.

How do I submit a nomination?

Nominations are accepted online only. The nomination packet will be available online at ormhof.org during the month of March.

What information do I need to nominate someone?

A short resume of your nominee’s history in off-road. Your goal is to submit a packet that helps your nominee rise above the rest. The format will be a bullet point list highlighting his or her significant achievements. Why should your nominee be inducted? Why this year? Letters of recommendation are good and can be combined into one document. Include a high-resolution headshot photo of the nominee.

Can I save the nomination form and finish it later?

Yes, the nomination form has a feature that allows you to create an account. You can save the form and submit it at a later date.  To be considered for 2024, nomination forms must be submitted by March 31, 2024.

When is the nomination deadline?

For 2024, the nomination deadline is March 31.

How many people are nominated each year?

There are usually about 50 nominations each year.

How many nominees are inducted each year?

ORMHOF by-laws require a minimum of three up to a maximum of seven nominees to be inducted each year, or if greater, all nominees receiving votes from two-thirds of the committee members.

Who decides which nominees are inducted?

A committee of twenty individuals comprised of ORMHOF inductees, board members, and industry professionals review applications and follow the process in accordance with the ORMHOF guidelines.

When will I find out if my nominee has been selected?

You will be contacted by email or phone after the voting committee meets in June.

What happens if my nominee isn’t selected?

Nomination packets will be valid for three years. If a nominee is not selected the first year, you will be asked to rework and resubmit the packet in order for your nominee to be considered for the following year. If not inducted after three years, there is a one-year waiting period before an individual can be nominated again.

When will the Class of 2024 be announced?

During the summer, usually in July.

When is the 2024 Induction & Awards Gala?

Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the South Point in Las Vegas.  This is the Sunday before The SEMA Show. Gala tickets and discounted hotel rooms at the South Point will be available on the website starting in mid-summer.

Who can attend the Induction & Awards Gala?

Anyone can attend the Induction & Awards Gala. Purchase Gala tickets and reserve discounted hotel rooms on the Hall of Fame website starting in mid-summer. Gala tickets and discounted hotel rooms are limited, so purchase early!
