Golden Valley Cactus Cleaners is an all-volunteer group working to help beautify the community of Golden Valley, Arizona. State Route 68 runs through the heart of Golden Valley, connecting it to Kingman and Bullhead City. Since the group was formed in 2015, the Golden Valley Cactus Cleaners volunteers have collected 455,456 pounds of illegally dumped trash and debris, including 39 boats. Additionally, the group has collected 16,533 illegally dumped tires weighing in at 448,290 pounds. The Golden Valley Cactus Cleaners Facebook page says, “If you can hold a trash bag open, we can use the help! If you can only fill one bag, only have one hour, we need you!” The group is funded entirely by donations.
