Amy Granat is nominated in the Advocate Category for a second time, and deservedly so. As managing director of the California Off-Road Vehicle Association (CORVA), Amy advocates for motorized and non-motorized access to all public lands, promoting safe and responsible trail use through educational programs and family events. Amy has been on the board of directors of CORVA since 2006. Amy helps educate the public on how to make comments on federal policies that will make a difference to help keep trails open. “I am in constant admiration of the skills of off-roaders,” says Amy. “We don’t tell them what to write, we tell them how to write.” Amy says that the key is for everyone to be able to get together behind one issue.
Amy was the voters choice in 2019.
