Mitch Guthrie Jr has won his class in the grueling King of the Hammers UTV race back to back, in 2018 and 2019, taking the overall UTV win in 2018. He also won the UTV Turbo Class at the 2019 Mint 400, besting the largest field of Turbo UTVs in history. In 2016 he won the UTV World Championship, and in 2017 he was the overall UTV winner at both the Baja 1000 and the Mint 400. After his 2018 win at KOH, Guthrie Jr, who is in his early twenties, told UTV Underground, “I don’t think it’s really set in yet how much we’ve done as a team and how young I am.” The Guthrie name is synonymous with UTV wins, and King of the Hammers in particular. Mitch Guthrie Jr and his dad, Mitch Guthrie Sr, have combined to win eight of the past 11 KOH UTV titles.
